M&M’s + Skittles – Advertising for the Mars Factory in the Czech Republic

At the request of the Mars factory in the Czech Republic, we created a personalized installation featuring two full-size M&M’s characters — the Yellow and the Red — along with enlarged models of Skittles packaging.

Project Goal:

The objective was to produce a set of figures that:

highlight the brand’s visual identity within the facility,
create a positive, welcoming atmosphere at the main entrance,
serve as an attractive photo spot for employees and visitors,
maintain full compliance with the M&M’s and Skittles brand books.

The project was intended to stand out through vivid colors, large scale, and instant recognizability — which was achieved thanks to the faithful reproduction of the characters and packaging.

Execution – Technology and Production:

All elements were made from fiberglass-reinforced laminate. This material provides:

high resistance to weather conditions,
the ability to achieve perfectly smooth, rounded shapes,
durability required for outdoor display.

Each figure was hand-painted in accordance with Mars Inc. brand guidelines.

The polyurethane lacquer finish adds an intense gloss that highlights the character of confectionery products.

Composition:

The installation includes:

✔ Yellow M&M’s figure

In a dynamic pose, holding an enlarged Skittles package.

✔ Red M&M’s figure

Presented in a characteristic, expressive gesture, next to a large-format package.

✔ Enlarged Skittles packages

Prepared in two variants:

Skittles Fruits – red packaging,
Skittles Crazy Sours – green packaging.

Each element is placed on stable bases, ensuring safe use outside the factory.
