Project Goal
The aim of the project was to create a distinctive tourist attraction that captures the attention of residents and visitors, while also allowing for an artistic interpretation of local history.
The figures were intended to be durable, safe, and suitable for long-term outdoor display.
The project was planned as a combination of craftsmanship, the city’s history, and a modern form of place promotion.
Scope of Work
As part of the project, we produced a complete set of large boots made from fiberglass laminate. Eleven figures were prepared as neutral bases for further painting and were later artistically finished by local artists working on behalf of the city.
Additionally, one unique boot was created, fully wrapped with graphics and photographs referencing the history of Döbeln, local products, and the city’s heritage.
Final Effect
The project significantly enriched the city’s public space. The large boots became a recognizable symbol of Döbeln, engaging both residents and tourists and highlighting the local character of the place.
